What Is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing uses online channels, platforms, and strategies to promote products, services, or brands. Key components of digital marketing include:

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Improving a website’s visibility on search engines like Google and Bing.
  • Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC): Running paid ads on platforms like Google Ads and Meta.
  • Social Media Marketing: Engaging with audiences on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Content Marketing: Creating valuable content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience.
  • Email Marketing and CRM: Building relationships and driving engagement through targeted email and retargeting campaigns.
  • Data Analytics: Measuring and optimising performance using tools like Google Analytics and other analytics reporting sweets.

Digital marketing has become essential to modern business strategies, offering the ability to reach global audiences, personalise messaging, and track results in real-time.
